Vodka Lemon is one of the most simple and essential cocktails: you don’t have to be an acrobatic barman to make it. All you need is a good vodka and real lemonade.

How to make Vodka Lemon
It is prepared directly in the glass. Fill it with ice, pour the vodka, lemonade and a slice of lemon to decorate.
Consider lemon vodka a blank canvas on which to let your imagination fly: you can add berries, mint, use agave syrup instead of sugar or add a few sage leaves and crush it on the bottom, before pouring the vodka.
If you are desperate you can use industrial products like lemon soda, Schweppes lemon, but if you want to serve an impeccable cocktail, you always must have a sweet and sour bottle at your fingertips.
How to make sweet and sour?
Very simple. For a generous 1 liter, let’s say 1.3 liters of lemonade you will need 1 liter of water, 5-6 lemons and 100 grams of sugar or agave syrup. Remember that it is better to sweeten a little and use a good syrup if you don’t have much time. However for every liter of water 100 grams of sugar is needed, not more.
Squeeze the lemons and strain the juice. Put water, juice, and sugar in a jug and stir, then bottle for convenience. If you want a more incisive product, crush the lemons, untreated and organic, with a pestle and leave to infuse overnight, then filter the lemonade.
