Ingredients
-
4 cl of vodka
-
12 cl of cranberry juice
-
3 cl of fresh grapefruit juice
Directions
The Sea Breeze is a simple cocktail, just an easy pour and stir drink, but has a unique flavor thanks to a magic ingredient: cranberry juice. It is one of those classic vodka long drinks that rely on freshness and simplicity.
For making a perfect Sea Breeze, you won’t need the shaker. It is built directly in the glass. The ingredients are only 3 and easily obtainable: vodka, cranberry and grapefruit juice. The only recommendation is to choose ripe grapefruits; otherwise, the cocktail could be too sourish, considering that the cranberry is not so sweet.
The Sea Breeze cocktail is excellent as an afternoon aperitif, but it shines when it comes down to brunches and fish dinners, thanks to its moderate alcohol content and titillating flavor.
For the perfect success of the cocktail, prepare the Sea Breeze in carafes of jugs, adjust the ingredients’ dosage, and cool the drink with a single piece of ice so that the ingredients can blend in better without watering down the cocktail.
