The Vodka Tonic is one of the few certainties in life: it is always there for you, ready to comfort, especially when the day has been long and suffocating.

An original, codified Vodka Tonic recipe does not exist, God forbid. Everyone knows exactly how to dose the quantity of vodka at will and accordingly to the day’s stress level.

If an afternoon aperitif is granted a ratio of 1/3 vodka to 2/3 of tonic, you can dare even more with a half and half proportion after dinner.

The lime gives the final touch: a slice for garnish and a one to be squeezed in to add a touch of citrus freshness, which makes this drink smooth and irresistible, especially in summer.

Ingredients and doses for making Vodka Tonic

  • 4 cl of vodka
  • 10 cl of tonic water
  • lemon slice
  • ice

How to make the perfect Vodka Tonic

Wash and cut two slices of lime or lemon. Fill a tumbler with ice. Pour the desired amount of vodka and fill it with tonic water. Squeeze one wedge of lime in the glass and decorate with the other. That’s all: it is only the recipe for happiness!
