Directions
The Vodkageddon cocktail is born from the most incredible virtue of vodka: to be the star of great cocktails, without being noticed. Vodka is not certainly an expressive distillate. It does not have the salacious elegance of Scotch whiskey. It does not boast the fleshy charm of rum, it is not as enveloping as cognac. It does not make you want to leave for Mexico like tequila, however, it will never disappoint you.
Feed the right ingredients (strong and thick) to vodka, and she will exalt contrasts and hardness and will replenish them with that extraordinary alcoholic ardor that warms but does not burn. This is the great power of vodka: it makes its traveling companions, from the glass to your liver, heroic, incites them and gives them strength.
And to enhance the rough fieriness of vodka, we will add to our Vodkageddon cocktail a dash of ouzo, lime, raspberries, raspberry liqueur and cucumber bitter. Overall it is a cocktail with medium alcohol content, but not too demanding, where the alcoholic sensation is not overpowering, perfect as an aperitif, thanks to an aromatic and light-hearted flavor.

How to make the Vodkageddon cocktail
Cool a glass with ice. Squeeze the lime and strain the juice and put it in the shaker with the raspberries and crush with the pestle. Pour the vodka, the ouzo, the celery bitter, the sugar syrup, add ice and shake for a few seconds. You don’t need to dilute the cocktail very much, you can also do it in the mixing glass if you want. Double strain into a glass full of ice, add a dash of soda and then complete with the raspberry liqueur, which will slide to the bottom of the glass creating a nice contrast of colors.
