Daiquiri is a unique cocktail: compact, precise, smooth like a silky cloud and easy to drink, but in the height of summer there is an even more tempting cocktail.
Yeah, right you guessed it right, the answer is frozen Daiquiri. The recipe is the same, a simple sour based on rum, lime and sugar, but the addition of ice makes it even more compelling.
To say that it is refreshing and pleasant like a granita is not enough.
But drink it responsibly: once you have started to drink it you won’t stop anymore.
Not to mention that by decreasing the dose of rum, or eliminating it, it becomes a delicious light cocktail, not to say an irresistible soft drink.
Frozen Daiquiri ingredients
- 4.5 cl of rum
- 2 cl of lime or lemon juice
- 0.5 cl of sugar syrup
- 60 grams of crushed ice
How to make the perfect Frozen Daiquiri
Squeeze the lime and strain juice. Put all ingredients in a blender together with ice and blend. Starts slow, then increase the speed and finish at low speed for 10 seconds. Usually, 30 seconds are sufficient. The drink should be smooth and well blended, not too liquid. Pour in a glass and enjoy a great cocktail!
