When the heat hits hard like now and starts melting roads it’s time to make icicles, but of course, alcoholic popsicles, homemade, prepared with love, and one of our favorite cocktails.
You can always turn your favorite cocktail into an ice spear to quench your thirst, but today our icicles are green and bright and hide a tantalizing cocktail cherry inside.
That’s right we are making Midori Sour flavored popsicles and you can bet your bottom dollar that you won’t find a better cocktail as a candidate, because of its fresh, but sweet and delicate flavor, enveloping, with the memory of melon that permeates the whole icicle.
There are not many tips to give you, just prepare the cocktail and pour it into the molds… so what are you waiting for?
Ingredients for making Midori Sour flavored popsicles
For 4 icicles
- 8 cl Midori
- 6 cl of sweet and sour
- 3 cl lemon juice
- a can of Sprite
- 5 cl of vodka
- 4 maraschino cherries
How to prepare the Midori Sour flavored popsicles
The doses that we have provided are fine for 4 medium size icicles, look at the pictures to get an idea, but it always depends on the mold…
So, let’s start! Mix all ingredients in a cup or a big glass and then pour the liquid into the molds to half-fill them.
Let the popsicles rest in the freezer for 2 hours, then put a cherry in each mold and fill with the rest of the cocktail.
Let them meditate in the freezer for 9 hours more and then you can serve the Midori sour icicles. They are not too alcoholic, so they are perfect as a dessert for a casual dinner with friends or during a naked and coconut oil-coated session of Twister.
