The Russian Spring Punch cocktail has now entered the Olympus of sparkling drinks, establishing itself as one of the most aromatic and delightful.

Lemon juice, sugar syrup, and finish with créme de cassis, a small French work of art that we have already seen in iconic cocktails such as the Kir Royal or the Diablo cocktail. Also, in this case, do not use poor products, but only artisan liqueurs; otherwise, leave it alone and make a simple Moscow Mule. You need to finish with a top of sparkling wine, just a bit to give liveliness to the cocktail. Do not use the cheap Prosecco. Never. You would ruin this delicate cocktail. Franciacorta and Champagne are fine.

2.5 cl of lemon juice
2.5 cl of vodka
1.5 cl of créme de cassis
1 cl of sugar syrup
a drop of sparkling wine such as Champagne or Franciacorta
How to make the Russian Spring Punch cocktail
Squeeze the lemon and strain the juice.
Fill a highball glass with ice to cool it down.
Put the vodka, créme de cassis, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into the shaker with ice and shake for 12 seconds.
Drain the water from the glass and pour the cocktail, filtering with the strainer. Add a drop of classic method sparkling wine and decorate with a slice of lemon or lime.
