The Sambuca Sling cocktail is a hymn to elegance, an alcoholic walk in the woods since it starts from a spicy base of Sambuca and then flows into the berries.
The cocktail is very simple to prepare, but you will have to make the raspberry nectar in advance or otherwise buy real juice with no added sugar. Obviously, if you want to prepare an impeccable cocktail, the best result is obtained starting from fresh fruit. Put them in a colander, crush and the magic is done.
The Sambuca Sling cocktail is an aperitif, its alcohol content is moderate. It is not an excuse to drink, but to enjoy an elegant aperitif and spend time with friends. It is therefore perfect as a drink to sip before dinner, no more than two drinks. It’s light but the velvety combination of spicy and fruity flavors deceives and doesn’t make you perceive the alcohol.
The ingredients of this stylish cocktail are sambuca, raspberries, DOM Bénédictine, a few drops of angostura and lemon juice. Add a bit of egg white and a drizzle of agave syrup to sweeten and you will be able to prepare a very fragrant and sharp cocktail. As always when the egg white is present among the ingredients, dry shaking is recommended for one minute, without ice, to whip it until it becomes frothy.

- 1 cl of sambuca
- 1 cl of agave syrup
- 4 cl of raspberry juice
- 1 cl of DOM Bénédictine
- 2 drops of angostura
- 1 cl of lemon juice
- 2 cl of vodka
- 1,5 cl of egg white or aquafaba if you are vegan
How to make the Sambuca Sling cocktail
To make the nectar, wash, then crush the raspberries in a colander with the pestle or a wooden spoon. 100 grams of raspberries are enough. Otherwise, buy a good juice.
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with no ice and shake for 1 minute to whip the egg white. Add ice and shake quickly to cool the cocktail. Pour into a cup filtering with a strainer to make the egg white even more velvety. Decorate with a rose or what you prefer.
