The cocktail we offer you today is a super light long drink characterized by a series of incredible perfumes.

The combination of tequila, triple sec, mint, rose water and lime, not to mention the sweet and mysterious touch of raspberries, is something unique. Citrus fruits, agave, mentholated memories, all played on lightness, but with a certain aromatic rigor.

On the palate, the cocktail is persuasive, fresh, with the triple sec that softens the unique notes of bitter oranges. Rose water opens the doors of a heavenly garden.

If you want you can also use strawberries instead of raspberries. And if you have Framboise you can use it instead of sugar syrup and you will not regret it.

Desert, image of the Mexican desert, spectacular photos of nature The name of the cocktail is Rosa Salvaje (wild rose), either because of the pink color and the presence of rose water and to pay homage to the legendary Veronica Castro, the protagonist of the homonymous series. To call a cocktail Los ricos también lloran would have been excessive…

Ingredients and doses of the Rosa Salvaje cocktail

  • 4 cl of tequila
  • 5 raspberries
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 3 cl of sweet and sour
  • 0.5 cl of sugar syrup or Framboise
  • 1.5 cl of triple sec
  • 3 dashes of rose water
  • soda

How to prepare the Rosa Salvaje cocktail

Put the raspberries in a chinois and mash them with a spoon, collecting the juice in the shaker.

Add the mint, some ice, pour the tequila, triple sec and the sugar syrup (or Framboise) and shake for 12 seconds.

Pour into a glass, filled with ice, filtering with the strainer, add the sweet and sour or lemonade, drop two drops of rose water. Stir gently, add a splash of soda and decorate with mint and raspberries.

And the cocktail is ready, but if you want a super thirst-quenching mocktail, don’t use tequila and triple sec, add more soda and you will drink a delicious summer tonic.

And now you just have to sink your nose into this rose and lose yourself in its perfumes.
