Freshness, balance, charm and titillating drinkability: it has the full package. But today we want to offer you a special Daiquiri, made with bergamot and long pepper, called also Indian long pepper. Do not be afraid, it’s a very simple recipe, you just need some long pepper berries.

Long pepper has not a so aggressive scent like black pepper, indeed is very sumptuous, but sweet, reminiscent of incense and cinnamon. But the flavor is quite peppery, so be careful not to let it infuse too much!

You can use it to give panache to an infinite number of cocktails, adding a mysterious and spicy touch to very fresh cocktails like sour and Fizzes.

To close the circle rum, with its tropical smoothness, is the perfect binder. If you want to try a more pungent cocktail, but also a little bit less harmonious, you can use gin and do some testing.

For now, rum is the winning candidate when it comes down to long pepper and bergamot.
