Today’s cocktail is dedicated to our vegan readers, we are digging hard into vegan recipes, so we have prepared a brand new cocktail.
Almost all the cocktails are vegan, the distillates do not contain ingredients of animal origin and in place of the album, you can safely use acquafaba. But this cocktail is the first to declare itself proudly vegan. Come on, it’s nice to put some useless labels now and then, so for the sake of being redundant.
The name of the drink is Blood of the Monkey.
Let’s see the ingredients of this bloody cocktail, which has low alcohol content, so you can drink it as an aperitif. Blueberries, red turnip, anise, gin. Nothing difficult, only fresh blueberries and a good turnip juice made with the extractor are needed. Nothing fancy.
The Blood of the Monkey cocktail is good even if you eliminate the gin from the equation and it becomes an excellent detox vegan mocktail for those who want to keep blood pressure under control. The red beet juice is rich in anthocyanins and antioxidants and has overt anti-hypertensive virtues. So, what are you waiting for?
