Directions
The Perfect Martini is a cocktail that is good for all hours, its recipe based on gin, dry vermouth and sweet vermouth is in perfect balance between sweetness and bitter flavors, with the resinousness of the gin in the background working to create a base credible alcoholic.
If you are not a die-hard Martini Dry drinker, you could try the Perfect Martini, if only to get familiar with this type of cocktail, which does not include fruit juices among the ingredients and therefore not immediately easy to drink.
But the palate must also be polite and the Perfect is a good way to start, then over time, you can decrease the doses of sweet vermouth, to get to the dry and also to the Montgomery, without haste though.
Historically there is not much to say, the Perfect Martini is a variant of the Dry Martini, which recalls the Manhattan Perfect, very similar in terms of doses, except that it uses rye whiskey as a distillate.
The Perfect Martini is excellent as a pre-dinner, but also for an after-dinner as a meditation cocktail it always makes an impression.
