Ingredients
-
5 cl of pomegranate juice
-
10 cl of Champagne wine
Directions
The Tintoretto cocktail is a variant of the Bellini drink made with Prosecco and pomegranate juice. It is a very fresh and sharp drink, perfect as an aperitif or an undemanding drink.
Its main strengths are the freshness and the extreme drink-ability, not coincidentally it’s also an excellent cocktail for brunch or to accompany fish dinners.
About Tintoretto doses, it depends on the opportunities and time of the day. If you want a light drink on the fly, you can start with 1/2 of Prosecco and 1/2 of pomegranate juice.
Opt for a 1 to 2 ratio of juice and Prosecco if you want a more substantial drink.
In any case, it is always a glass of Prosecco, so Tintoretto’s alcohol content is not so high.
There is only a single secret to making the perfect Tintoretto: make sure that pomegranates are perfectly ripe, otherwise, it would be too sour.
We assume that you’ll wisely use real fruit juice: with only two ingredients, their quality is crucial for this drink.
If you have to fix a very acid cocktail, add 1 cl of sugar syrup for every glass.
