Ingredients for preparing grilled chicken wings with chimichurri sauce

  • 260 grams of coriander
  • 250 grams of parsley
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 3 serrano peppers
  • 85 grams of honey
  • 65 grams of mustard
  • 300 grams of extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 grams of salt and pepper
  • 48 chicken wings

How to make grilled chicken wings with chimichurri sauce

Put the parsley, coriander, garlic, chilies, honey and mustard in a blender and blend everything. While mixing slowly, add the oil.

Prepare your barbecue. You can choose cooking or indirect. Since I will be adding the sauce while cooking, I will use indirect heat for more delicate cooking.

When the barbecue reaches a temperature of 180 °, place the fins on the grill and cook for 15 minutes. Cover them with the chimichurri sauce in the remaining 5-10 minutes of cooking. Cook the wings for 25 minutes, turning them only once. Remember to refresh the wings with the sauce now and then.

As a side dish, you can grill a couple of peppers and season them with oil, salt, pepper and vinegar.
