  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (600g)
  • 6 grams of salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (12g)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
  • 120 ml of chicken broth
  • 45 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 grams of thyme

Instructions

Set the oven temperature to 375 degrees F. to begin. First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Cast-iron is ideal, but any oven-safe skillet will do.

The next step is to season four boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper and then add them to the pan.

Now, fry them for about 7 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown. When you’ve finished, take the chicken out of the pan once it’s done cooking and set it aside.

Seasoning the dish is the next step. In the same pan, sauté four minced garlic cloves for a minute or two, or until fragrant. Then, season to taste with additional salt and pepper and add one cup of heavy cream, half a cup of chicken broth, half a cup of grated parmesan cheese, half a teaspoon of dried thyme. In order to thicken the mixture, bring it to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Add the chicken back into the pan once the sauce has thickened, and then serve with the sauce on the side. Put the chicken in an oven that has been preheated to 400 degrees and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
