Directions
The Amaretto Flip cocktail is a dense and sumptuous drink, a variation of a great drink of the past, the Porto Flip. First of all, it is a very aromatic cocktail with an intense flavor but low alcohol content; however, it is not suitable for making aperitifs by the pool. Indeed the Amaretto Flip gives the best of itself if taken as an invigorating cocktail, maybe while you rest between a snowy slope and the other, or as an after-dinner drink when you need a complex and silky cocktail with a nuanced charm to meditate.
The ingredients of the Amaretto Flip cocktail: high-quality amaretto liqueur, 1 whole egg, passion fruit syrup, dry vermouth, and a few drops of chocolate bitters. Overall it is a slightly sweet cocktail because of the fruity component and the sweetness of amaretto, but vermouth and bitters add a bitter touch and smooth the first impact with more graceful-herbal-spicy suggestions.
