Ingredients
-
3 cl of white rum
-
1,5 cl of lemon juice
-
1,5 cl of Galliano liqueur
-
1,5 cl of sugar syrup
Directions
The Yellow Bird is a little-known cocktail, but it’s really a shame because this citrusy concentrate is a fantastic sour.
The Yellow Bird is based on the intense flavor of white rum to which is added a dash of triple sec and finally the Galliano liqueur.
Add lemon juice and we will have a great cocktail, very sharp, but made very special by the presence of Galliano, which fades and adds aromatic vivacity (anise, vanilla, saffron) to a classic sour foundation.
When should you drink Yellow Bird?
Always, it is a cocktail that has no limits and its alcohol content is not too high making it perfect as an aperitif, after-dinner drink, but also as a cocktail for a cheerful party or brunch.
