The Papageno cocktail is a bit of a joker and also a jester and wants to be carefree, just like the cheerful plumed servant of Mozart’s Magic Flute.
But just as this bizarre character is full of color and cheerfulness, it is no coincidence that we thought of it as a light aperitif, perfect for refreshing yourself at the end of the day.
The ingredients: grapefruit juice, grappa, dry vermouth, a drop of bergamot, mint, orange bitter, and a drizzle of syrup to tie everything together in a sweet embrace.
At first glance, it might seem all like a ruffle of feathers, but the cocktail is very sharp but balanced, not too alcoholic, in short, perfect for quenching your thirst in this torrid summer.
