Are you looking for a Cinco de Mayo cocktail?
Well, we have the recipe for you!
The Golden Tarantula cocktail is an aggressive drink, lashing and full of aromatic flavors that run after each other. It is a classic aperitif drink, fresh and sharp, but the alcohol content is relatively high. Perhaps the taste is velvety on the palate, but be careful not to overdo it.
The ingredients of the Golden Tarantula cocktail are classic, not very easy to find, but they are all to be made at home, apart from the tequila, of course! Unless you have a pot still hidden in your basement.
In any case, we start with tequila as an alcoholic base, then add apricot nectar, lime, and Don’s Mix, the legendary ginger and cinnamon-based syrup.
Ingredients and doses to make the Golden Tarantula cocktail
- 4 cl of tequila
- 2 cl of Don’s Mix
- 1 cl of lime juice
- 2 apricots
- 2 drops of vanilla essence
How to make the Golden Tarantula cocktail
Wash the apricots, cut them into pieces, and put them in the shaker.
Mash to extract the juice, strain, and mash the pulp in the colander.
Put the apricot nectar in the shaker, add the tequila, the filtered lime juice, Don’s mix, 2 drops of vanilla essence, add the ice, shake and pour into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Decorate and serve an excellent summer cocktail, velvety and aromatic, with a fresh and sharp taste.
