The 2015 Gewurztraminer Nussbaumer made by the Tramin winery is simply spectacular, a sumptuous, rich, opulent wine but never cloying. Indeed, it is of rare cleanliness and rigor for a Gewurztraminer, apotheosis of pyrotechnic and luxurious perfumes.
This Gewurztraminer is enveloping, but it does not lose sight of elegance and measure. There are a thousand aromas, but the nose and mouth rhythm is marked by thundering acidity and fabulous sapidity.

Tropical fruit, melon, then come to the cascading yellow roses, honey, dried fruit, cardamom, saffron, candied fruit, citrus, and salty tones. The taste
It is warm and sumptuous, alcoholic, and powerful in the mouth. It moves with a decisive step and a thousand nuances of ripe fruit but is never cooked or dull. On the contrary, the rhythm is genuinely remarkable, irresistible for such a structured and ambitious wine.
The game between roundness, freshness, and flavor is excellent and titillates the palate with iodized flavors. The balance is already pleasant. It is very concentrated, but this wine was not born to be drunk immediately. It deserves to spend a few years in the cellar. And know that this thickness will last at least 20 years.
