The Slippery Nipple cocktail is the classic shot, made with sambuca and whiskey cream, served in a chupito glass to swallow all in one gulp.

The recipe for making this drink is very simple and also the ingredients are only three: sambuca, whiskey cream and a drop of grenadine to make the nipple. As we said, you won’t need anything else. Pour the sambuca first and then the whiskey cream, sliding it gently along the edge of the glass and thanks to the specific weight of the two liquids they will remain separate. To give the final touch, pour a small dose of grenadine, which thanks to its exaggerated specific weight, will fall to the bottom.

The Slippery Nipple cocktail, which translated into Italian means slippery nipple, (yes very epic as a name) is sweet, slightly nuanced, mellow and not particularly interesting, not to mention that it is not a refined drink to be savored, but to be swallowed in a single sip.

What else to say about this shot? Nothing, it is not the worst cocktail in the world, but not the best either and if you want to give joy and sweetness to a boring evening you can try it, but it certainly does not have the contemptuous and irrepressible elegance of the B52.

If you are feeling brave, use the bar spoon and pour the whiskey cream, keeping the round bottom attached to the wall of the chupito.
