Directions
The Shaved Eagle cocktail is a tough, spicy drink with an enveloping charm, with mature tones, but it is not light. It is a cocktail that relies on the strong flavor of whiskey, possibly a good quality Kentucky Bourbon whiskey, which is quite smoky and spicy.
Its alcohol content is high, but the flavor is smooth, so you can safely drink it as an aperitif. But be careful, Bourbon whiskey is tricky, it tickles you, but it hits hard. There is no need to splurge and open a fine distillate worth hundreds of euros: this should not be an expensive cocktail.
The other ingredients of the Shaved Eagle cocktail are tangerine juice, cardamom, bay leaf, and black tea. All suggestions are designed to create an aromatic, dark and dense symphony that the tangerine will cut with a refreshing touch. As a sweetener, sugar syrup is fine, but good orange blossom honey is fine too.
Ok, that’s all: be ready to fly with the Shaved Eagle cocktail, enjoy!
