The Razor Ginger Bloom is a cocktail, new and invented only for our beloved readers, reminiscent of the taste of apple pie.

Not that it’s sweet, but the combination of apple, pear and cinnamon, caressed by the refreshing touch of ginger, has a scent that puts you in a good mood: you wish you could bite it…

Among the other things, is one of those rare cocktails that make sense even in the non-alcoholic version, as the basis of fruit juices, ginger and spices are very sound and tantalizing.

The Razor Ginger Bloom is a cocktail suitable as an aperitif but is also excellent as an after-dinner cocktail or to accompany desserts with apples and pears.

Here’s the cocktail Razor Ginger Bloom.

Ingredients for Ginger Bloom Razor cocktail

  • 2 cl pear juice
  • 3 cl of apple juice
  • 2 grams of grated ginger
  • 4 cl cognac
  • 2 cl mandarinetto
  • a light dusting of cinnamon and anise powder

How to make the Ginger Bloom Razor cocktail

Prepare the two nectar squeezing the fruits and filtering them.

The cocktail has to be prepared in a shaker, so put all the ingredients, except cinnamon and anise, in a shaker filled with ice.

Shake for 15 seconds and then pour in a cup you’ll have cooled before with some ice cubes.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and star anise.

We recommend you to buy the whole spices and then grind them at the moment, otherwise, they’ll lose much of their aromatic charm.

Suggested food pairings

Try it with chocolate desserts, fresh fruit, coffee or orange cheesecake: tiramisù, chocolate salami, pear and chocolate tart, bonet, vegan panna cotta, galaktoboureko.

After-dinners you should try

B-52, Godmother, Grasshopper, Amaretto Sour, Brandy Eggnog.
