Many of you will already know the oyster shooter, the shot made with a tiny Bloody Mary in which an oyster is drowned.
Who wouldn’t want to die like this, in a sea of vodka and spicy flavors?
Seriously, if you are thinking of a stylish aperitif or if you want to make sense of the category of so-called shots, we have the recipe for you.
Of course, there is work to be done to open the oysters and prepare all the glasses with many ingredients, not to mention that you need good quality oysters that have fleshiness and a marked taste so as not to get lost in the very intense taste of the Bloody Mary, like the Fines de Claire.
But at the end of all the work, it’s worth it, try this eat and drink cocktail and you’ll never go back.
As the only piece of advice, be careful not to overdo it with the salt, the tomato is too small and the oysters are already savory, so do some tasting before serving the oyster shooter.
Ingredients and doses to make the oyster shooter
- 0.5 cl of vodka
- 0.5 cl of tomato
- pinch of pepper
- 1 drop of Worchestershire sauce
