Passion fruit is a strange-looking fruit, almost disturbing, once cut in half it looks like one of those fruits from an alien planet, with all those gelatinous seeds.
But its flavor is pure poetry, perhaps it is one of the most intriguing fruits of all, thanks to its perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and aromaticity.
And this all-encompassing and grandiose taste lends itself to marriage with cachaca, so today we will prepare the passion fruit caipirinha.
As always, pay attention to the degree of ripeness of the fruit, which is fundamental, because the passion fruit does not need either lime or a lot of sugar for this cocktail.
