Now that the swimsuit season is in full swing there is no time to indulge in greasy desserts like Tiramisù. Or you might consider the idea of a light Tiramisù, or rather let’s be honest and call it for what it is a fake Tiramisù with yogurt, cereals, and raspberries.

But do not worry, this dessert, although it’s a lighter version of the original and is infinitely less caloric, deserves an opportunity: consider it a melt-belly Tiramisù in preparation for your holidays. It could be the slogan of a new diet: lose weight by eating Tiramisù, yes you can!

If you don’t like the idea of using Greek yogurt because it’s are too fat, you can switch to light ricotta cheese, just whip it with a fork and add a sprinkle of vanilla powder and it’ll do its duty.

Keep this recipe in mind as a healthy snack for children.

Ingredients for making a light Tiramisù with yogurt, cereals, and raspberries

For 4 cups

  • 200 grams of Greek yogurt (or ricotta cheese)
  • 250 grams of raspberries or strawberries
  • 100 grams of assorted cereals
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 cm of ginger
  • the tip of a teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 4 tablespoons honey of orange blossom
  • few drops of lemon juice
  • Galliano liqueur to liven up the evening (only for adults!)

How to prepare the light Tiramisù with yogurt, cereals, and raspberries

The hardest part of this recipe is to open the box of yogurt, the rest is a breeze.

Mash ginger and place in a bowl with yogurt, icing sugar, vanilla, 1 tablespoon of honey, cinnamon and a dash of lemon. Stir.

Put a layer of cereals in the glasses, season with honey, then cover with a layer of cream (cream is not the right term, but try to keep alive the illusion), then another layer of cereal and honey, some more gorgeous cream and finished with a crown of raspberries.

You don’t need a ton of honey, just to add around touch, do not overdo it.

And just like that, in less than 10 minutes you’ll prepare a light, delicious and stylish Tiramisù, excellent as a snack, but also as a dessert for a casual dinner.

If you want to spice it with a touch of alcohol, a couple of spoons of Galliano liqueur in each cup does wonder and nobody will get drunk, although once I saw a Korean lady got drunk with Mon Cheri chocolate: I swear it’s true.

Suggested food pairings
