Ingredients to make the real authentic Italian schiacciata con l’uva recipe

To make the dough
- 350 g of flour
- 45 grams of extra virgin olive oil
- 65 grams of sugar
- 90 grams of water
- 20 grams of yeast
For the stuffing
- 1 kg of washed red grapes
- 40 grams of 0live oil
- 60 grams of sugar
How to make the authentic focaccia with grapes recipe
Melt the yeast in some tepid water. Knead the flour with the yeast, pour the water in. Join 4 tablespoons of sugar and olive oil. Knead all till getting a smooth dough.
Let it leaven for some hours, covered with a cloth, till it doubles its volume. Stretch the dough with a rolling pin. Oil a tin and spread the dough.
Scatter 1 kg of red grapes (keep apart 2 handfuls) pour 2 tablespoons of oil and 2 of sugar, then cover with the exceeding dough.
Garnish with the grapes, pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 of sugar and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
