Single Malt Shop Presents: Glenfarclas Family Casks – A Chronicle of Whisky Heritage
The renowned Single Malt Shop in Ireland is now offering the full Glenfarclas Family Casks collection for purchase.
Introduced in 2007, the Glenfarclas Family Casks collection consists of 43 unique single malts, crafted between 1952 and 2004. This collection embodies the heritage of the Speyside distillery, which has been under the stewardship of the Grant family since John Grant acquired it from its founder, Robert Hay, in 1865. Over the last 19 years, this series has undergone multiple iterations, resulting in over 380 distinct vintages.
The Single Malt Shop has assembled a collection of 52 Glenfarclas Family Casks spanning the years 1953 to 2004. These whiskies, aged between 14 to 59 years and bottled at their natural strength, are available as a comprehensive set for €250,000 (£214,100 / US$272,800).
Ed Forrest, the managing director of the Single Malt Shop, expressed, “After our recent sale of the entire Midleton Very Rare vintage range, we’re thrilled to present the distinguished Glenfarclas Family Collection. The Grant family’s contribution to Scotch and single malts is unparalleled. This collection epitomizes their finest work, and we’re privileged to offer it to our esteemed clientele.”
