Rome’s Biggest Halloween Celebration at Cinecittà World: Attractions and Shows for All Ages
At Cinecittà World, preparations are in full swing for the big party on October 31st. In reality, the Halloween season begins much earlier: in the weeks preceding the scariest night of the year, all the main amusement parks organize Halloween-themed events and parties.
Halloween: A Scary October at Cinecittà World
From October 5th to November 3rd, 2024, on weekends and during the All Saints’ Day long weekend (see exact opening dates in the summary table at the end of the article), visitors can discover the thrilling attractions of Cinecittà World.
But let’s go in order: the new feature for 2024 is Funeral Party. Who has never imagined what their funeral will be like? Cinecittà World offers the possibility of organizing your funeral live. A surprising event, where the guests themselves are the protagonists of a memorable “farewell,” organized down to the smallest details.
Among the historical attractions, there is the Horror House, where you can walk among the sets inspired by the scariest films of all time. There is also the new Hotel Transilvania, a quiet city hotel where not everything is as it seems. For the bravest, a ride on Inferno is a must, the indoor roller coaster that leads to the feared Dante’s circle.
Another novelty for 2024 is the U571 Escape, the first escape room in a real submarine of the Second World War, while the Asylum, a narrow underground path in the dark, will test the most fearless spirits. And here is the Cinetour – The Awakening of the Living Dead, where you can admire the statues of the cinema museum… which sometimes could come to life. And if the day was not enough, at night you can sleep in the Cursed Hostel.
As always, the schedule of themed live shows is very rich: from the Halloween Show to the Zombie Walk, ending the day with the spectacular Halloween Parade.
And for the little ones? For them, there is Dolcetto-Giretto, to collect sweets among the park’s dedicated rides, or the Mostroso Face Painting, where they can take on the appearance of their favorite monster, or the evocative magic show Piccoli Goosebumps.
Halloween Nights
The grand finale of Halloween night in Rome is with the three Halloween Nights of October 31 and November 1-2, 2024, when Cinecittà World is open from 11 in the morning until late at night with live shows, themed dinners, concerts, and DJ sets for dancing.
The party on Thursday, 31 October, is the biggest party in Italy with 7 music pavilions and stages, but not only:
- The park is open from 11 am to 4 am, with 40 attractions and 3 Halloween-themed dinners.
- Halloween Roma Festival: a stage dedicated to lovers of rap, trap, and hip hop music with concerts by Gemitaiz, Noyz Narcos, and other stars.
- Symphony of Chaos: the first show to combine the harmony of classical music and the energy of a dance festival. A unique event in the world that includes a live symphony orchestra, with its choir along with DJs, vocalists, and amazing special effects.
- Halloween Resurrection: the big high school party, which every month brings together thousands of high school kids.
- Horror Dinner Show with the Black Circus, and also casino party, roulette, and blackjack tables.
- Party Señorita for lovers of Reggaeton, Hip-hop, R’n’b, Latin-house music with all the hits of the moment and unique entertainment.

How to get there: From the Grande Raccordo Anulare, exit 26 – SS148 Pontina, then exit at “Castel Romano”.
Shuttle bus: Cinecittà World is connected to the center of Rome by a shuttle service available every day the park is open. Departures from Termini Station (Via delle Terme di Diocleziano) at 10:00, Metro B “EUR Palasport” at 10:30, returns based on the closing time of the park. For the night of October 31st, additional shuttles are available to/from: Rome Termini (Via delle Terme di Diocleziano), Rome EUR (Metro B Palasport stop), Aprilia (Piazza Roma), Pomezia (Largo Columella), Torvaianica (Piazza Italia), Ostia (Metro Lido Centro).
