Unveiling Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Red Wine Cask: A Fusion of Art and Whisky
The revered Japanese whisky brand, Ichiro’s Malt & Grain, is set to unveil its latest creation under the ‘Spirits of Salud’ label, aimed at captivating a new generation of whisky aficionados.
Lieke van Vliet, CCO of Salud Spirits, describes the new release, Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Spirits of Salud, as more than just a whisky; it’s an embodiment of exquisite craftsmanship and a homage to the blending art. “”This release is not just a whisky; it is a meticulously designed experience tailored for discerning enthusiasts of Japanese whisky,” she asserts.
The design of the bottle label mirrors the enchanting beauty of the natural world surrounding Chichibu. It depicts a landscape adorned with colorful flora, ever-changing clouds, and mountains, accompanied by the image of an angel engrossed in the ‘pages of life,’ a nod to the Chichibu whisky ethos.
On the nose, the whisky flaunts complex aromas of almond cream, fudge, nougat, candied violets, and dried pear, while the palate is graced with malt chocolate nuances and subtle red peppercorn hints.
A limited release, only 272 bottles of this 59.8% ABV whisky have been produced.
Set to hit the shelves before Christmas, this exclusive offering will be available at official Chichibu stores and select specialty liquor outlets across the Netherlands, Austria, and Japan.
This launch marks yet another collaboration between Salud Spirits and the celebrated Japanese producer, following the successful release of the 7even Gods of Fortune series in September.
