Owned by Brown-Forman, the distinguished Glenglassaugh brand stands as a beacon in the Highland Scotch whisky realm. Their latest creation, a single cask expression, made a grand entry at December’s end, offering a mere 274 bottles. This rare whisky is presented at 45.6% ABV and commands a price of US$6,600 (AED 23,760).
This exquisite whisky is a proud member of the brand’s Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection, having been aged exclusively in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry hogshead.

The whisky tantalizes the senses with a nose of salted caramel, blood orange, and blueberry pastille. On the palate, it unfolds with notes of cherry, almond, and mandarin orange balsamic. The finish is adorned with nuances of pink grapefruit, star anise, and nori, creating a complex and satisfying experience.
