Gary Barlow’s New Organic Wines: A Taste Revolution at Harvey Nichols
This week, Gary Barlow Wines made its debut of a new Organic Sauvignon Blanc and Blush wines at an elite event hosted at Harvey Nichols in Manchester.
Gary Barlow, the artist turned entrepreneur, celebrated this occasion alongside relatives and a selection of distinguished guests.
These included culinary expert Simon Rimmer, football professional Phil Jones, and prominent influencers Coleen Rooney and Emma Neville. The attendees were the first to experience the unique flavors of these South African additions to Barlow’s highly successful organic wine collection, a product of his partnership with the London-based drinks distributor, Benchmark Drinks.
Since its initiation in 2021, the wine series has surpassed one million bottles in sales, establishing it as one of the UK’s rapidly emerging organic brands with a staggering 140% year-on-year growth.
Earlier this year, Barlow ventured to South Africa with a mission to find the finest organic Sauvignon grapes. This resulted in the Gary Barlow Organic Sauvignon Blanc, a rich, medium-bodied wine. The wine is described as crisp and vibrant, boasting bold gooseberry and green pepper notes. According to the brand, the wine’s structure is tight, ending in a lengthy finish and displaying a well-balanced acidity.
Reflecting on the launch, Barlow commented, “Returning to Manchester is always a delight, and celebrating this new wine here makes it all the more special. The ongoing success of this wine collection continues to surpass all my projections. As the top-selling branded organic wine in the UK, the addition of this new Sauvignon Blanc couldn’t be more perfect. I can only hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!”
