Experience the Magic of Santo Tequila Añejo: A Collaboration by Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar
Why did Guy Fieri decide to venture into the tequila business? Because he wanted to add some 'spi-cilantro' to his Santo Spirits!
Guy Fieri, the popular host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, has introduced a fresh Añejo Tequila to the market under his Santo Spirits brand, a venture he co-owns with former Van Halen singer, Sammy Hagar.
The Santo Tequila Añejo is the fifth variant added to the eminent pair’s collection, which also includes Santo Blanco, Reposado, Blanco 110 Proof, and Mezquila — a distinctive Mezcal and Tequila fusion. This latest addition has been crafted by third-generation distiller Juan Eduardo Nuñez and tequilera Karina Rojo at El Viejito Distillery, situated in Jalisco, Mexico.
The Añejo tequila is produced using 100% Blue Weber Agave, and then aged for an average of 24 months in former American Whiskey oak casks, in order to meet the meticulous standards set by the team.
Guy Fieri, a partner in Santo Spirits as well as a successful restaurateur and host of numerous cooking shows on the Food Network, praised the new product: “Our Añejo is the ideal sipper, offering authentic flavor derived from treating the agave and the aging process with utmost respect, not from additives or artificial flavorings.
The rich, agave-forward flavor of Santo Tequila Aejo arrives just in time for summer, whether sipped alone or alongside whatever you’re grilling.
Santo Tequila Añejo will be available for purchase online and in stores across the US, with a suggested retail price of $74.98 for a 750ml bottle.
