Christmas in the Village of Tussio: Traditions and Festivities Await
In Tussio (a hamlet of Prata d’Ansidonia, province of L’Aquila) there is a celebration with markets between food and traditions as part of the event Christmas in the Village of Tussio. The appointment is for the weekend of November 30 and December 1, 2024, with two days of celebration in which the village located on the Piana di Navelli offers its guests the traditional Christmas markets.
On the stands there are many gift ideas such as colored Christmas balls, lights, handicrafts, decorations, local food and wine delicacies, and surprises, but also nativity scenes, live music, food trucks, and entertainment for children with the participation of Santa Claus himself.
The Christmas markets are organized by the association Il Borgo di Tussio.

How to get there: Tussio can be reached from L’Aquila (28 km) by taking the SS17 to San Pio delle Camere and then continuing on the SP8 towards Prata d’Ansidonia. Taking a road on the left, you reach Tussio.
