Entracque Unveiled: A Hidden Alpine Gem Awaits
It is said that there is a peculiar connection between the village of Entracque and the surrounding scenery. The small buildings, which are squeezed together as if to warm each other, serve as safe havens against the unstoppable force of the mountain.
They are reassuring dens that protect from the cold and snow. Nevertheless, these are sculptures that are in harmony with the landscape and have always survived thanks to the untamed nature that surrounds them. There are only 800 people living in the Piedmontese village of Entracque, which is located in the province of Cuneo.

The rustic Entracque bread that is created with malt flour is an ideal candidate for spreading with brus, which is a creamy paste made from ricotta. The “cuiette,” also known as traditional gnocchi, is an incredible delicacy. It is made with “bodi,” which are the well-known Entracque potatoes.
