Komos XO: Ultra-Premium Tequila’s UK Debut with Limited 36-Bottle Release at Berry Bros & Rudd
Komos, the ultra-premium Tequila brand, has unveiled an exquisite limited release in the UK. With only 36 bottles available, this highly sought-after Komos XO expression is exclusive to the renowned Berry Bros & Rudd website. Priced at £2,200 (US$2,760) per 700ml bottle, it represents the pinnacle of Tequila luxury.
Following its successful debut in the United States with a production run of 2,000 bottles, Komos XO marks a significant milestone. Co-founder Richard Betts expresses immense pride in this launch, alongside their esteemed partners at Berry Bros & Rudd.
“With XO, we aimed for the zenith of aged Tequila,” says Betts. “Selecting each barrel personally, we ensured only the most exquisite Tequila comprised this unparalleled blend.”
This exceptional Tequila has matured in a range of barrels, from three to 11 years, including American oak ex-Bourbon and French oak ex-wine barrels. It receives a final touch in Spanish ex-oloroso Sherry casks. The result is a Tequila boasting notes of chocolate, vanilla, toast, smoke, and dried fruits – a symphony of complexity and power.
Each bottle of Komos XO comes in an etched crystal decanter, labeled with ‘Batch No. 1’ and boasts an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 42%.
