“The Old Man” Ascends to New Heights with Eclipse Beverages Collaboration
Eclipse Beverages, in tandem with Perrier, has crafted an innovative highball menu at The Old Man, ranked 47th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023. This strategic alliance debuts at BCB Singapore, marking the exhibition’s inaugural presence in Asia.
Killian O’Sullivan, Eclipse’s advisory consultant, emphasized the importance of aligning with Asia’s distinguished mixology landscape. He stated that for spirits traditionally associated with Western markets, it’s crucial to resonate with the cultural nuances of service in Asia—highballs being a perfect example. O’Sullivan clarified, saying, “It’s important to dig into native drinking traditions.”. Our synergy with Perrier and The Old Man demonstrates how a quintessentially simple highball can be transformed by superior ingredients and refined mixology.”
Eclipse Beverages, Metagroup’s affiliate, extends its expertise to spirit brands across various nations, including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Ireland, the UK, and Southeast Asia. It represents brands like Stranger & Sons, Amaro Montenegro, and Stauning, contributing to their growth in the expansive APAC territory.
This initiative with The Old Man and Perrier exemplifies Eclipse’s ongoing commitment to bolstering its brands’ Asian market presence. Moreover, Eclipse is currently engaging in talks with brand proprietors to co-invest, thereby enhancing export potential.
Adam Green, the export director, shed light on the strategy’s underpinnings: “Brands often lack the resources to deeply understand Asia’s diverse markets.
