Lauren Beers’ Sudsy Leap: Pub to OnlyFans and Now a Brewery
Lauren Beers, a pub landlady from Huddersfield, who cleverly adapted to the OnlyFans platform to keep her pub afloat, is now on her way to introducing her exclusive line of beers.
In an Instagram update, Beers, whose name fittingly suggests her new venture, announced her collaboration with a local brewery.
“”In collaboration with a fantastic brewery, I’ve created a limited-edition beer called ‘Lauren Juice’. My favourite craft beer ‘Elvis Juice’ by Brewdog” sparked the inspiration for this endeavour. “I am thrilled to associate my name with a product that I’m excited for you to try!”
“The beer will be ready for purchase on the brewery’s website in August, perfectly timed for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.”
Last year, Beers established her OnlyFans account to preserve her Huddersfield pub, which was grappling with increasing energy bills and operational costs post-pandemic.
This development arises as debilitating energy bills compel many pubs and breweries to shut their doors.
According to Beers, “I commenced my OnlyFans journey in September as a response to mounting bills owing to the energy crisis following the Covid-induced closure. Although some people have inquired about a specific fundraising goal, we require continuous backing since the energy bills persist to be high, in addition to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
We are striving to keep our doors open as the pub embodies a fading British tradition and our staff’s livelihoods are at stake if we close down.
Several followers have reached out expressing their desire to contribute to the pub’s survival but lack an OnlyFans account. This led me to conceive the idea of crafting a unique beer that people can conveniently purchase online and savour from any corner of the globe.”
