The Golden Dream is one of the three fresh cream and liqueur-based cocktails and is distinguished by its splendid aromatic charge, given by orange juice, triple sec and Galliano liqueur.
We are dealing with a classic cocktail of the mid-1900s, therefore sweet, soft, slightly alcoholic, but very consistent. It’s the perfect after dinner, even if it does not look bad even as an all-day cocktail, thanks to its fresh touch, which makes it light and jaunty.
The alcoholic ingredients of the Golden Dream are all aromatic, perfectly blended, with the cream that acts as a binder and dilutes the taste of bitter oranges and the spices of Galliano.
As the name implies, the Golden Dream is a delicate, sweet and sumptuous cocktail but a little static. Indeed, it is not the usual battle drink like Mojito, but it has its great dignity and deserves to be present in the cocktail list of every aficionado. Not to mention that it is excellent as a base to start experimenting to find new cocktails.
Serve it chilled at parties, family dinners or even for the upcoming holidays and you will see that you will make a great impression!

How to prepare the Golden Dream cocktail
When there is cream among the ingredients, the shaker is essential to mix it with the spirits, so have no mercy! Just be careful not to shake too much.
Put some ice in the cup to cool it down.
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice, close and shake gently for 8 seconds.
Throw in the ice and pour the cocktail into the glass, filtering.
Decorate with a candied orange peel or a fresh strawberry and sip a great cocktail.
