The beauty of this gin is not variety and flair (it is actually very classic) but the way it has been processed, as it “appears” to the nose. There are shades, tones, degrees and a play of shadows and lights.

The flavor

It is consistent with the bouquet on the palate: thick, almost salty sip, driven by good acidity reminiscent of grapefruit and lime and ginger. The structure is ample, with a robust alcoholic boost, returns of pepper and licorice and camphor in the finish. Overall it is smooth, earthy, just right, but well done. It does not have billions of botanicals or suggestions, but what is there has been well integrated and has credibility. Despite having 41.6 degrees of alcohol, the alcoholic sensation on the palate is very velvety.
