Life is what happens to us while we’re busy making other plans: opening bottles, checking recipes, sipping a new cocktail, cooking a Boston Butt for some Mexican carnitas. Perhaps John Lennon did not mean just that, but everyone has a task in life.
We have come a long way, but we still have much to do, so we will not slow down. But we noticed one thing. We have changed and we are changing right now.
We started from nothing and we were very focused only on wine, almost monomaniacal. And we are very pleased with this choice, wine is our blood, but with the passing of time we have expanded the menu.
Few things, only seasonal and all done by hand as usual, but first of all we want to thank all the chefs, cooks, foodies, and not only the winemakers, we met along the way.
And of course a sincere thanks to our beloved readers for having been always curious and full of advice. Keep it up, we look forward for your feedback and recommendations for further improvement, so thank you to all of you.
As good intentions for the 2016 we have set ourselves to devote more space to beers. After many tastings and pairings, we are bowing to the appeal of the world’s oldest drink. Soon we will update you with some tastings and beer recipes.
As “theme” of the month we have chosen “the must eat before you die recipes”, some classic Italians dishes that you can’t live without.
So, let’s start with lasagna alla bolognese and buon appetito!
